in vicidialnow, do you have or it's possible to upgrade asterisk to version 1.4 or 1.6 via yum or rpm?
does the rpm exists?

Hi, I think upgrading asterisk through yum is impossible. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You need to compile Asterisk, so it is not upgradable through yum.

Also, ViciDial does not work with Asteirsk 1.6

asterisk 1.4 or 1.6
