exten => _901161XXXXXXXXX,2,Dial(${TRUNKX}/${EXTEN:1},,To)
exten => _901161XXXXXXXXX,3,Hangup

still i receive a voice prompt that i had enter a invalid entension..

and also i made "9" as my dial prefix... but im not quite sure if its the right dial prefix..

or easily ill just post my config here..

"Auto Alt-Number Dialing:
Next Agent Call:
Local Call Time:
Dial Timeout: 40 in seconds
Dial Prefix:9 ; for 91NXXNXXXXXX value would be 9, for no dial prefix use X
Omit Phone Code: YES
Campaign CallerID:
Campaign VDAD exten:

i have an idea! post the correct dial pattern for dialing in australia from a land line, and possibly the dial pattern that your voip provider requests you send to them.

with that (either one) we could likely construct for you an australian dial plan.

of course, i'm sure there are a few rooms on here that already have one, you could also try waiting (they could post it any minute now).

oh, and:

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method, vicidial version and build, asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box.

Similar to This:
Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X Build XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

Please try this one.

exten => _901161.,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _901161.,n,Dial(${TRUNKX}/${EXTEN:1},,To)
exten => _901161.,n,Hangup

try this using softphone first... dial 901161xxxxxxxxx.

see asterisk CLI on how the system translate the call...
