Registration for '3793338353@sip.aretta.net' timed ou
your carrier is not responding to your SIP registration request.

either your system cannot reach their system, or they are ignoring your request.

test your ability to "hit" their server:
Code: Select all
ping sip.aretta.net -c -4

and/or call them and find out why your request is failing.

if 3793338353 is a DID and you canceled that phone number, you may wish to modify your registration string for your new DID or use one that does not involve a DID.

Post your "Account entry" (X for user/pwd xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx for host) if this is not fruitful. you may need to remove a "qualify=" line to allow dialout.

Thanks William, but we have a total of 3 servers, all using the same provider and the other 2 servers are fine.
And now, guess what - everything is running fine - server has been on all night, no reboot yet and it's dialing.
I do think there is something wrong with the server, the on-board network card went out the other day for no reason, so we just pulled the card from a pc and put it in - will see how it run today, will keep u posted - thanks William!
