vici*CLI>

My VOIP also Supports that which I have checked by configuring my Xlite and changing the Display Name.

I have setup my CALLER ID .

When I try from the Agent Portal , dialing Manually, I get above CLI.

But at the customer end, I don't see any CALLER LINE IDENTIFICATION.

ok: Let me see if I'm deciphering correctly today ...

1) If you dial from the "Agent Portal" (which i will assume means you have logged in to vicidial as an agent and are using the manual dial feature of Vicidial) you get the "above CLI" which I will assume means that one of the dial commands above has a caller id which actually shows on the ringing phone as the caller id.

2) questions: if you dialed the number, that's not what should show on the caller id, the number showing on the callerid should be YOUR number, right? So I'm a little confused there.

3) If you mean to say that "your" number shows on the callerid screen when you dial manually, but not when vicidial "auto-dials" the number ...

check with your provider and see what number is actually being transmitted by vicidial to the provider. it may be that the format is not perfect and they have "special requirements". if you do not pass one at all (manual dial), they may provide the number that they sold you "automatically" as the callerid.

Please show your dial plan entry for this carrier, just to be sure. :)

it is also possible to put in a line to modify the callerID just before the dial command as a test to see if your carrier supports this feature (and how). then you can work with your carrier to format this properly until it works and we can help you make the working version "work" in vicidial if it's odd.

i have had situations like this before, but it turned out that the client was attempting to set the callerid to a number that was not "approved" and was automatically blocked by the carrier. If they provided no number at all, their default number was used by the carrier automatically.

4)

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and OS with kernel or version, vicidial version and build, asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box.

When I log in o the dialer , Xlite shows

S1008311225348600057
7806285999

7806285999 is the Caller which I want to set.

I tried using Xlite , configuring the directly the VOIP, bypassing the asterisk and Caller ID works good.

My dial plan is :

exten => _511NXX555XXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _511NXX555XXXX,n,Dial(${TRUNKloop}/8889990011112,,to)
exten => _511NXX555XXXX,n,Hangup
exten => _5X.,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _5X.,n,Dial(${SIP203_5}/${EXTEN:2},,tToR)
exten => _5X.,n,Hangup

I tried inserting the caller ID line before dial command in above plan, But no change.
