FTP

When we set up FTP setting on my dialer to Transfer all Voice Logs and Files to another system using FTP, other system needs to have a FTP server software ?

Which FTP server software you ppl suggest ?

We used VSFTPD. We just loaded the Vicibox Redux disc and activated VSFTPD. But I see Kumba has an archive server setup built into the latest release which should make it even easier. Not sure which FTP distro he is using. I know William will also have something to say on the subject.

depends on your OS on the "other system". Each Linux distro has (more than one) FTP available. It really makes no difference which one you use, but some are easier to install and configure, based on the OS in use.

So ... what OS is running on the "other system"?

Microsoft IIS has built-in FTP or you can download an FTP server from somewhere like SourceForge.net or CNET.

But since IIS already has it ...
