I am running out of the space on my server and I am using vicidialnow 1.3 version. How can I delete the old call logs and stuff from the database. I am scared that if I delete call logs it will effect the production. Please advice!
thanks

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and OS with kernel or version, vicidial version and build, asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box.

Similar to This:
Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X Build XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)
___

/var/log/asterisk & /var/log/astguiclient can be cleaned out without penalty.

log tables have a script in /usr/share/astguiclient which will "prune" them if you ask it to (notes for usage of scripts are actually IN the scripts, so you can just edit them).

BACKUP NOW (there's a script in there for that, too). If you are log on drive space, I'd recommend cleaning out the log folders previously mentioned and then executing a "db only" backup and getting that file OFF the server immediately. Just in case. :)
