that's the OLD version of vicidialnow. download the NEW version.

you can also try vicibox if the new vicidialnow still fails to install properly.

please, when you post next, also include the information about which installation manual you are using (and where you stopped in the manual).

Thanks for reply. I have tried to install the latest version of vicidialNOW VERSION: 2.2.1-237 BUILD: 100510-2015 . Hope this is a tested and bug free version
According to the manual, i was not able to configure the Carrier. SIP was registered, but it was not able to make any call.

For example :

Registration String:

register => 91326SSXX:XXX38XX@20X.1S6.128.56:5060

Account Entry:

[SIP-Net4india]
disallow=all
allow=g729
allow=g723
; allow=ulaw
; allow=alaw
type=friend
username=XXXXX01252
fromuser=XXXXX01252
; fromdomain=202.71.XXX.13
secret=XXXXX
host=202.71.134.XXX
dtmfmode=rfc2833
qualify=1000

Dial Plan Entry:

exten => _93X.,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _93X.,2,Set(CALLERID(name)=)
exten => _93X.,3,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN:2}@SIP-Net4india,120,Tto)
exten => _93X.,4,Hangup

Second, what is the reason, to advocate the ViciBox.

Kindly reply and guide.

Vicibox = Maintained and Supported by The Vicidial Group (The Creators/Owners of VICIdial)
*Installs VICIdial on OpenSUSE (or Ubuntu if you use the old version)

VicidialNOW = Maintained and Supported by Gardo
*Installs VICIdial on CentOS

I recommend vNOW for those requiring or familiar with (some sort of preference for) CentOS/Redhat. Otherwise I suggest ViciBox simply because it is from The Vicidial Group (No "functional" reason, just a personal preference of mine). They operate quite close to the same, so stick with what you have if one has installed successfully (trunk failing is not an installation failure, more likely a configuration issue you would experience in either version).

I will also say that there should be NO fear of reinstallation (install both versions several times until it is as easy as installing Windows, so you have NO fear of reinstallation should the need arise).

@Williamconley: VicidialNOW is now GoAutoDial. It's being maintained by the GoAutoDial group - http://goautodial.com (which of course I'm a part of 8) ).

Hehehe ...

But at the top of the forum ... it says "VicidialNOW ..."?

And all the installs i've worked on ... "VicidialNOW ..."?

Perhaps you should call it "GoAutoDial (Formerly VicidialNOW)" for the next few months :)

And what the heck is http://www.vicidialnow.com/ a "Kloxo default page"? LOL

I WILL, however, give extreme credit where it is due: If one searches for VicidialNOW ... the first Google result is "VicidialNOW is now GoAutoDial" which is excellent. (And very necessary considering the present state of Vicidialnow.com ... :) ) But I still don't get the blank page on vnowinc.com. What the heck is goin' on over there! :oops:

Hehehe! I need to request to Matt if he can change the forum name from "VicidialNOW" to "GoAutoDial (formerly VicidialNOW)".

I don't really own that domain. Mine is just: http://www.vicidialnow.org. :)
