Softphone problem

Postby nikeshshk » Wed Oct 20, 2010 3:15 am

Hi all,

I am having problem with softphones when I use Bria I am getting lots of problem with background noise and echo in local network.

When using Eyebeam there is delay in call and voice volume is very low. But background noise and echo is not heard with this softphone

When I use Xlite its same as Eyebeam.

This is the reason I am not being able to auto dial with vicidialnow. Because of poor voice quality.

Could anyone suggest me to overcome from this problem.

Because of all this reason I am using SJPhone softphone rightnow and going for manual dial. VoiceQuality on SJPhone is very good in comparison with CounterPath Softphones.

So can we integrate SJPhone on autodialing with vicidialnow. If not can you please suggest me the best softphone for vicidialnow.

FYI i am also using solicall to cut off background noise.

Any response on this matter will be highly appriciated.

Thanks and Regards

Have you tried to enable the "Screen Incoming" ? It should reduce the echo you hear. Also, please make sure Mic & Spk volume are not too high.

If this does not help, please look at SoliCall's product page. You can see that you are currently using their non-professional version. You might want to try the professional Personal BPXMate product.

Also try Zoiper and KIAX. Try changing your protocol from SIP to IAX and change your codec (ulaw/gsm/g729). Experiment :)
