Dear Experts,

I am using vicidialnow 1.2 VERSION: 2.0.4-122 and BUILD: 81011-0855. In all the way, it is working fine. I want to give the access of command /usr/sbin/mtr to a Normal System USer, which is not working according to my wish. I have make the entry in as sudo or make the soft link of /usr/sbin/mtr to /bin. But all in vain. And i am not in the condition to give the root access to the user. Kindly suggest the way.

-- With Thanks in advance

You stand a MUCH better chance of getting an appropriate response to this on a CentOS forum. Your question in no way relates to VICIdial.

Ordinarily there should be NOONE using a VICIdial system directly on the system except the VICIDial administrator performing vicidial functions.

Perhaps it would be helpful to explain why this person needs access to this section of the file system and what they will be doing with these files.

Webmin has a feature called Usermin which has proven very useful for us in the past on CentOS, but I do not know if it will fit your requirements.

But as I said: There are a LOT more users of CentOS than there are of VICIdial (at least I think there are, I could be wrong! LOL). If you found a forum populated by CentOS users or Linux Users in general, you may have much more luck (and perhaps in your language if English isn't your primary) :)
