Regarding Answaring Machine

Hi all,

My vicidialnow dialer is running fine.but problem in there...........we are dial from US with 12 agent on ratio method.but in this case we get 50% answering machine & 25% auto dial in uploaded 5000 leads.

I want that my dialer detect answering machine and hangup or dipsos in particular heading.other wise do not dial it and do not pass answering machine call to agent.

my extension plan mentioned below.,,,,,,,,

exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(${SIPtrunk}/${EXTEN:1},55,o)
exten => _91NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup

I am use vicidialnow 1.2.30.2

How to do this...kindly provide your support pls.

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method (this much you did thank you!) and vicidial version with build.

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You need to change the "VDAD exten" on the campaign to one that will detect answering machines and THEN pass to agent. If you click on the (?) next to the VDAD exten there is some explanation, then consult the manual and last consult the documentation for AMD (which is NOT a vicidial product but provided as part of the Asterisk/Vicidial package along with voicemail and several other cool things). Please remember that AMD (free!) is not very reliable (most say around 80%) whereas Sangoma CPD has been proven to be much more reliable (but not free).

Starting with AMD is a good way to understand what I mean by that. To use AMD, you'll need to change your VDAD exten and should also be aware of the other AMD settings for the campaign and for "tweaking" AMD itself.

I want to just detect answering machine and vicidial do not send all answering machine to agent.

I am new in vicidial so i am not aware about AMD kindly provide any hint about it.
