Web Forms not working.

Sorry for cross-posting this but I just realized after reading the obvious sticky that I was in the wrong forum.

I am still having the problem with Web Forms not showing up. Op3r if you're reading this I believe you were the person who reinstalled our server while I was gone and I need the VicidialNOW .iso version to update my sig.

Am I just missing a setting somewhere on this? The Web Form button is grayed out but I have verified the URL is correct. I have http://ipaddress/mydirectory/index.php in the Web Form field. When I browse to that URL the form works. Is there something I have in that code that could be preventing it from loading or a missed setting on the campaign? Frustrated.

Edit: I guess before I get the "that's not the URL you have in the field is it?" questions I better specify that I have my IP address and the directory where the form is located in the field.

Code: Select all
I need the VicidialNOW .iso version
i believe there was only actually ONE version of vNOW, so if you go find it, you'll have the information.

however: that does not explain how you got to 2.2.1 from VicidialNOW which installs 2.0.5 (SVN Upgrade or package download? or instructions from somewhere?) ... assuming it wasn't actually GoAutoDial, which DOES install 2.2.1 :)

delete your entry in the web form field and see if THAT enables the web form button for the agents on that campaign. IF that works (obviously not going to YOUR web form location, just to the default one) ... then read the manual for clarity to put in a web form entry.

Thanks williamconley. I did install VicidialNOW on the same server. But I left and Vicidial was reinstalled in the meantime. You are probably right. It's most likely GoAutoDial now. I'll try that. I only recently purchased the manual and although I admit I frantically read through it I didn't find a solution. Let you know.

Deleting Web Form did not work.

Deleted the entry in the Web Form field. That did not work. Still grayed out. I thought the field only needed a valid URL? Is there something else I'm missing?

Edit: I did not load this. When I built this server it was on an earlier version. I had no trouble with web forms at the time.

?? Am I putting the web form in a place where it cannot be found by vicidial? The installation I am working was not installed by me. Where should I be looking for the default?

Edit: did I purchase the wrong manual? :)

Edit: I'm just going to reload the server this weekend. I'm sure that will fix my problems. Just have to have to deal with it until then. Sad face.

Consider Vicibox unless you NEED CentOS. It will install to the latest version of Vicidial (2.4, which has not even been branched yet). Lots of new toys.

The only thing you'll give up is the Pretty AGC2/AGCnew interface (using the STOCK AGC interface, on which all the buttons/features work).

I don't have our agents pointed at the "pretty interface" anyway. :) We won't miss anything. I'll reinstall with ViciBox this weekend. I'll be sure to backup just in case. Thanks William.

The web form is only clickable or active if you have a live call. Whether you're using GoAutoDial or Vicibox doesn't matter.
