Only Ringing when On Dialer But Connecting when Manually

I use Vnow 1.3

When my agents are on call on dialer, they get only Ringing sound after calls getting connected ( Specially AUS but NOT when USA, UK or Ireland ) when On Dialer But Connecting when Manually ( from Xlite , configured with Dialer).

My carrier settings are :

[Sip_9]
disallow=all
allow=g729
type=friend
username=username
secret=password
host=domain
dtmfmode=rfc2833

exten => _9X.,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _9X.,2,Dial(${Sip_9}/${EXTEN:2},,tToR)
exten => _9X.,3,Hangup

Now, interestingly, when I use different carrier, calls are perfect.

Now when I try HARD DIALER with same carrier, there is NO ISSUES of ringing.

Confused as what could be the Issue !!

if changing carriers is the solution, then the "problem" isn't on your side of the wall. your carriers may be "answering" the call immediately (so they can bill you from the moment of dial) and this may or may not be something you can control.

But i'll give you three guesses who you'll have to contact to resolve this issue ... and the first two guesses don't count.

hint: Get a "sample" dialplan/sip context/registration from each of them and compare!

Ringing Issue in Australia Destinations

hi all,

we can get this sorted out, if the dialler is made understandable enough to differentiate between the SIP proxy 180 Ringing and 183 Session Progress.

for 183 Session Progress SIP signal the dialer doesn't understand and bypasses it to the extensions of the call handler, and hence they will hear ringing on most of the calls. its the responsibility of the dialer to differentiate the SIP signals 183 or 180. 183 is with SDP and 180 is without SDP.

if this is resolved completely there will be no ringing issues ever.

secondly if the carrier end is giving you a 200OK SIP signal and there is a ring in that then it is the problem with the voip carrier which is called as FAS on connected call.

regards,
Aamir...
