1)
Code: Select all
cd /srv/www/htocs/vicidial
cp admin.php adminOLD.php
cp admin.php adminTEST.php
nano adminTEST.php

2)
look for the section that defines the colors! it has some explanations about what each color is for.
3)
Be careful it's a big file, always back it up first (as shown). then use the copy until you are sure it's working properly, then leave the OLD completely untouched (just in case). That allows for editing during work hours without annoying anyone.

you know, honestly i don't think i've ever changed it. but i always ASSUMED that:
Code: Select all
$BROWSER_HEIGHT                 = 500;  # set to the minimum browser height, default=500
$BROWSER_WIDTH                  = 770;  # set to the minimum browser width, default=770
$MAIN_COLOR                             = '#CCCCCC';    # old default is E0C2D6
$SCRIPT_COLOR                   = '#E6E6E6';    # old default is FFE7D0
was in some fashion related (the lines with the word "color" at any rate)

thanks

open the header.php
then please try to use notepad ++ ( :D sorry he is my best friend)
and search and replace #d9e6fe with your best backgroud color
note: here the color #d9e6fe the blue one color as your picture so he will change this background color and dif they are other thing with color in other screen he will change it

#D9E6FE is found at just one Location.

and when I try to change it, it just changes the bottom part of admin page.

and you don't think after he changes the color scheme of the manager interface he's going to move right along to the agent interface? is there a wager involved here :)

learning how to change colors on any page ... means it can be used forever on any page. not JUST that ONE page and then come back and ask how to change it on every other page in the system (one at a time) LOL

thanks

use the "view source" button and save the result to your desktop. then delete stuff from it until you "find" the line cause the blue. then grep that "cause" on your vicidial.
