Live Call Listening

Hi,

Do we have an option of Live Call Listening in GoAutoDial like we have in vicidialnow.


Please guide.

Could you please describe exactly what "live call listening" means?

If you mean blind monitoring of an agent, then yes, this is a vicidial feature(not specific to vicidialnow, goautodial or vicibox)

blind monitoring

register a extension in your computer,

then go to the realtime main report , there you can see the session id for each agents who are logged in , dial that session id with zero in front in your softphone , so that you can blind monitor the conversation of your agent.

if you want interact with the agent and coustomer dial that session id without zero.

there are also another way to do this buy and read the vicidial admin manual

Do admin needs any extra plug-in to listen monitoring calls?
Because when I click on LISTEN link it popups and ask for select a suitable plug-in to hear call(chrome browser,mozilla cant handle this and open new tab with link sessionid@serverid).

Can you please name out some useful plug-ins for this .

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

3) Depending on your version, you can configure your soft phone to receive the monitoring session in the Realtime "Choose Report Display Options" link (at the top of the realtime screen). Choose whether you'll be "monitoring" or "barging" and then put your phone in. I forget whether it should be the "dialplan entry" or the "extension" for your phone. But I'm fairly certain it's in the manual! ;)
