Please note that the version of GoAutoDial is 2.0. The Version of VICIDIAL is 2.2.1-237 and the BUILD of VICIDIAL is 100510-2015.

When you attempt to log in via ssh (the remote access for CLI), are you using a local computer on the same subnet or one outside your local subnet?

If you are using one outside your local subnet, you will need to FORWARD port 22 through your router to your Vicidial server. (Unless you have altered the ssh port, which can be done).

BEWARE: Port 22 being "open" through the firewall is a direct invitation to brute force attack. If you have a decent router, you SHOULD be able to forward a different port (on the outside) to port 22 on the vicidial server (ie: port 333 outside the router would be forwarded to port 22 in vicidial, so vicidial would accept the ssh traffic but you would NOT have port 22 open to the world, and your ssh client, putty for instance, allows you to simply put in any port you like).

That being said, look at installing and using iptables to limit access to your vicidial server to ONLY pre-approved IP addresses. Then the world cannot attack your system, only those specific ip addresses.

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system.

Similar to This:
Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X Build XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation
