I am using Vici for the last 3 yrs. Long time.
I tried all versions.
I am using Sangoma USB timer.
I am using Iball USB headset.
I am using G729 codec.Free Trial One and Not the paid One.
Lets say we measure Volume 1-10 scale.
When I make a call using Xlite , manually, volume is 9 out of 10.
But when I try the same using Agent Interface , it is 4 out of 10.
Tried Asterisk 1.2 and Also Asterisk 1.4.
Tried Different VOIP also.
Anyone else faced the Issue ?

Um ... some possibilities
(given on the condition that you post back!)
1) Try Zoiper and LinPhone and KIAX (just to be funny)
2) Try volume settings in Meetme (which may not work with SIP, but do check) pay attention to the number of channels in operation in the meetme room (ie: less volume with more channels?)
3) Try volume settings in sip.conf if such a thing exists.
We've had a couple clients with such issues, usually changing phones fixes it ... nobody wants to go "deeper"

Will Try both :
http://www.linphone.org/eng/download/pa ... phone.html and
http://www.zoiper.com/download.php?os=W ... taller_exe
post back tommorrow with Status.
volume settings in sip.conf if such a thing exists. ?
Exist Really ?
More than likely you will want to turn on echo cancellation
echocancel=yes
echocancelwhenbridged=yes
The gain options allow us to increase or decrease the ‘volume’ if the devices we have appear to quite or loud – to be honest you should not really need to change the rx/tx gain settings under normal circumstances.
rxgain=0.0
txgain=0.0
Need to Modify /etc/asterisk/zapata.conf file ?

zapata is only for hardware channels (as in if you have a CARD for zap channels)

Have you been using a timer device all those years? A Sangoma, Digium or the USB timer stick helps resolve most of this quality issues with the meetme rooms.

He's right there. If you've been doing this for three years, you should be evaluating the USB stick as a "tool".

My main Concern is :
When I make a call using Xlite , manually, volume is 9 out of 10.
But when I try the same using Agent Interface , it is 4 out of 10.
I tried Zoiper but No good.

use zoiper. it has iax in addition to sip. and create "phones" with a protocol of "IAX" instead of "SIP" under Admin->Phones

This is very interesting. We are experiencing the same issues.
Works fine through xlite or eyebeam calling direct but when through the meetme rooms used on vicidial the volume goes low.
Any ideas or anything found on this?
