goautodial's manual should explain that goautodial has a built-in sip provider (that would be gardo, the guy that makes goautodial). his built-in sip provider should suffice for testing. then you'll want to get another for production unless his pricing is good. (i don't know his pricing, so I can't say).

first purchase the sip account from any voip minutes provider

get the details from them like
1.sip usernamer and password
2.proxy or sip address address
3.codec supported

and then in goautodial
1.go to admin --> carriers-->
2.there u can see 4 example carriers
3.edit or copy the goautodial or SIPEXAMPLE according to the sip settings u got from ur voip minutes provider

4.once done save it
5.again admin -->carrier--> click ur carrier -->go down and select Active =Y and submit

once all th eabove done go to asterisk cli by typing asterisk -vvvvr
then type sip show peers , it should show ur carrier OK reachable
or type sip show registry it should show rgistered

then satart make calls
