Hi there i am not able to configure IAX inbound DID... Please help me

I have read the full manual which i purchased from eflo.net i done it from GUI interface didn't change any setting on Extension.conf or any conf files....

worked perfectly. you have the default setting which is set to play "ss-noservice" and hang up. (that's the default inbound did extension).

if you want it to do something ELSE, read the manual on how to configure a DID, and be sure you change the DEFAULT one as well in case your idea of the exact DID string doesn't mesh with your provider's idea (if you are off by as much as one digit or character it will not match and it will end up in default ... so make sure your default is pointed to the ingroup you want "by default").

Thank you very much!!! its working perfect....now am able to receive calls....
but another issue came to picture!!!! i am not able to make outbound call from vicidial!!!! when i disable the inbound carier i wll able to make calls.....

[outbound]
this is only for outbound....
both is from same service provider!!! and both are IAX2....

you do not make two carriers in vicidial for one provider.

all you do is change "context=trunkinbound" instead of making an inbound provider

that is the ONLY use for that setting (context=xxxx is IGNORED for outbound carriers, so it should only ever bet set to trunkinbound unless you want to BLOCK inbound from that provider)

but inbound number ext from Service provide only support inbound call traffic so we already created an outbound only ext on our service provider end!!!
i can see the Asterisk cli showing the call are going through the inbound trunks.... i didn't create any Dialplan Entry:

put the system back to how it was when outbound worked

then in the outbound carrier change context=?? to context=trunkinbound (if the line is missing add it, if the line has some other value CHANGE the value to trunkinbound). get back to me with the results of that experiment.

Both never worked: only one will work either inbound or outbound

I have change the service provider to another service provider for outbound!!!!! now bot incoming and outgoing is working perfect!!!!!

also: i DO recommend you have AT LEAST THREE outbound carriers online and tested with FULL LOAD so you can avoid any possible downtime. So now you have two, get a third!
