Greetings ,
I have just download the lates version from site of goauto dial. Im facing two strange issue .

1- When Im adding carrier from web admin section it is not storing that info into file , when I check it via console sip-vicidial.conf there is no config for my newly added carrier so I had to add them via console into that file.

2- after adding carrier and extension manually when I loged in with user agent001 and phone 100 Im getting a message below

Code: Select all
Sorry, there are no available sessions

Does any know what am I doing wrong? infact from softphone Ive tested it is working fine . Hope to hear from you guys with good solution regarding this issue. Or point me a good step by step guide .

Regards
Tehseen

Welcome to the party! 8)

when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system.

Similar to This:
Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

If you do not wait a FULL MINUTE after adding a new carrier, or if you forget to change the carrier to "active", you may not see the entry in sip-vicidial.conf.

IF sip-vicidial.conf does not auto-populated ... you likely have LOTS more problems and should just reinstall and watch for errors.

IF a reinstall results in the same issues, you should consider Vicibox.com instead of GoAutoDial.com (you may have better luck).

Also: work from the getting started guide and do NOT skip any steps. Be sure to let us know where you are in the getting started guide/install manual/vicidial manager's manual when you have your first issue and we'll help you along. One thing about Vicidial: If you have a problem and decide to "just move along to the next step anyway", you can often spend weeks trying to figure out why it doesn't work. When you get an error, stop and find out what is wrong before continuing ... and you can cut your configuration time down to a single day (or 30 minutes if it's smooth).

Have you read the GoAutoDial Getting Started Guide? It's available here: http://wiki.goautodial.com/index.php/Goautodial_Getting_Started_Guide. You might have missed a step or two.
