Respected fellow members,

I would like to know the Server Configuration for 20-25 seats Call Center. It is an Outbound call center.
I am planning to instal GOAutodial in my server.

Currently we have 1 Mbps Leased Line. how much more bandwidth we require for smooth calling.

Looking forward for reply.

Thanks

depends on your codec and number of simultaneous calls/dialing numbers per agent.

if you're using G729, i think it is safe to assume 50Kbps per call since it supposed to use only average or plus/minus 32Kbps.

You are in the "limbo zone". A server normally holds 25 agents ... but that depends on the power of the server (and you have not shared this information). If you were asking how powerful of a server you should purchase by saying "configuration", then I guess that would be why.

We'll need to know if you intend to purchase/install g729, record all calls, is your list a "high quality" list? will you be dialing 2:1 or 4:1 on the list (which is based on list quality and pitch quality and agent training). The number of lines being dialed per agent has a huge effect on the number of channels in use. Do you intend to use Survey or Broadcast features?

If you can get your bandwidth up to 1.5M or 2.0M, you'll have a much better chance at success, and a more robust description of your situation will help a great deal.
