vicidialnow translation

Hi every one.
sorry it's a newby question.

I want to translate both admin and agent interfaces from english to french.

I've read in this forum that the files are in /usr/src/astguiclient/LANG_www/

and that i have to copy them to webroot.

well; would you give me the path exactely(webroot).and thereare 2 files there VICIDIAL_FR and AGC_FR. do i have to copy both of them.

locate admin.php


look for "www" in the results.

Why have you not updated to GoAutoDial? (You may even consider Vicibox Redux SVN)

Later versions are likely to have more recent translations available. Re-translating the old ones can be pointless if there is already a newer one available.

You CAN upgrade the version you have without reinstalling the OS or losing any data, BTW.

In the VICIDIAL Wiki, look at How to use SVN to upgrade.

But beware: The pretty VicidialNOW interface is only available in VicidialNOW and GoAutoDial (and can not be installed in Vicidial version 2.4 as yet).

I'm just givin' you a hard time. If it's working ... don't fix it. Let it keep making $$!

But you may consider installing GoAutoDial or Vicibox on a VMWare box for practice and so you can see all the cool new stuff. You can only use it with ONE agent in VMWare, but it's great for showing "Them" what it can do.
