I will try to post in bits and pcs trying to avoid the spam filtert (no bad intent here)

I have install goautodila on
dell Server
quad xeon 3.2
4GB ram

Install didn't recognize eth0
problem solved by using command " dhclient "
Server now have access to the internet.

I run update ip script
I change eth0 setting in vici browser gui
both are showing now .1.4 as the server IP

Im trying to register x-lite from lan computer
lan computer is IP is 1.2

Im getting the following error:
NOTICE[2897]: chan_sip.c:16378 handle_request_register: Registration from '"test"<sip:agent001.1.4>' failed for '.1.2' - No matching peer found

( I have removed the 192 and 168 from the IP address)

can anyone help with this issue?
Why there is "No Matching Peer"?
Thanks,
ori

in asterisk cli , type sip show peers.
the output will show the available sip peers in the asterisk.

and see whether the extension u r trying to register is there.

also go to admin=Phones and see what server ip does the phones took or assigned.

I'd recommend you closely follow the instructions on the GoAutoDial Getting Started Guide:

Pay attention to the network configuration part.

No matching peer found

it looks like installation error
you should get 9 or 10 scokets in screen -list output

try vicibox or goautodial

i have been using the following link for scratch install
https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B9l2axmW ... load&hl=en

My advice would be do NOT scratch install, or post a reason why you need to. It's a lot of hassle that Gardo has already gone through. He's done all the work for you ... use GoAutoDial if you must have CentOS. If you do not require CentOS, use Vicibox ... unless there is some serious reason you cannot use an .iso install
