I just spent about an hour looking at this and it seems like there are some issues:

ADMIN ISSUES:
- Some of the admin features from that build are broken or missing:
- - auto refresh timer
- - add new lead link
- - in-group user select-all
- - logged-in user echo
- Your database dump is mostly server_performance table records(you should really delete those before doing your DB dump)
- The directories are copied from an svn working directory instead of being exported(resulting in a lot of wasted space with ".svn" files)

AGENT ISSUES:
- The agent interface code you have altered breaks XHTML compatibility
- When custom campaign features with associated buttons are enabled(quick transfer, IVR Park Call, requeue call, send dtmf, etc...), some are partially or completely hidden by the large goautodial logo at the bottom of the screen
- The Callbacks link, manual dial link, hotkeys button and several others do not line up and are on top of the Call Notes field, making it unusable
- The "Agents View" and "Webphone" sidebar frames cover some customer info fields and the call timer, and the maximize/minimize links for these are on top of other elements
- The CALL LOG link is completely blocked by the hotkeys button
- No scroll bars on the FORM content

Here is what the agent interface looked like:

* note the hidden buttons on the left, the covered Call Notes field and the obscured CALL LOG link
.

Thanks for the feedback Matt. Appreciate it. We'll have those bugs sorted out soon.

Forgot to remove that one.

Manual dial mode

When my agents are in manual dial mode, the next call or lead does not load and the dial next button remains greyed out. I have changed some of the links on the bottom of the page to buttons though that is the only difference from fresh install from the CE 2.1 ISO

VERSION: 2.4-309a
BUILD: 110430-1642
ASTERISK: 1.4.39.1-vici
Dual XEON 4 GB memory

Does the hopper still have leads on it? Have you tried this and compare with the default Vicidial UI?

Yes the hopper does still have leads loaded. And when I change everything back to a fresh install it does the same. Although if I go to /agc/vicidial.php everything seems to work fine.

So far from my experience the Mizu webphone has great voice quality and is easy to implement. I am working on buying the professional version from them so we may let our agents start using it in production.

you can read more about it here.

Here's the fix for the agent UI bugs (from http://goautodial.org/issues/27):

XHTML compatibility has also been restored.

The agent interface code you have altered breaks XHTML compatibility

We've also modified the buttons. Please test and let us know how it goes.

NOTE - Seems as if you have done any modification and line numbers are different then the patch doesn't work.

As for the webphone I have not received a licensed version but after configuring the webphone file itself all I had to do was change the webphone URL in admin -> System Settings -> Webphone URL

Then I set the settings in options.php to the right height and width to display my webphone properly.

After that you must go to admin -> phones -> agent phone and set "Set As Webphone" to Y.

In the MIZU configuration files you set the server IP or domain so the use external server settings do not seem to matter.

@brett05 - We're using gimp to create those buttons... so we only have .xcf template files.

Below is the link for the fix of the button alignments:

I am still having an issue in manual dial mode.

After the call ends the disposition screen pops up. When you try to disposition the call the disposition screen stays up.

When in predictive dial mode or ratio dialing the disposition works just fine.

Is this happening to anyone else?

(this is with the new interface as well as the old one)

*Update*

After install all the patches found at http://goautodial.org/issues/27 the interface bugs appear to be fixed.

Thanks guys for all the work in getting this resolved!!!

Anyone notice the agent usernames missing in the first column of the real-time reporting screen?

I Installed the ISO.

Whats Next to Update the Agent ?

I cant see :

Last Few Calls made by an Agent in Agent GUI.
Way of Sending Message to an Agent by Admin.
Lead Search from an Agent Panel.

Plus there are so many New Features under Admin, I really doubt anyone uses those in Normal Outbnd dialing and 90% centers are using Vici for Outbnd Dialing.

version 2.4-309a
build:110430-1642
asterisk 1.4.39.1
from iso.
no extra hardware.
no addons.
using eybeam as a softphone.

p3 computer 930 Mhz 512 RAM just to test goautodial

well maybe i'm missing something here.
i followed the instructions inside the tar.gz file.

1. Extract the file agent-UI.fix.tar.gz on the folder /var/www/html/goautodial-agent/

2. Patch the vicidial.php file using( patch -p0 -i vicidial.agent-UI.fix.patch)

saying

patching file vicidial.php

and what i got is a blank side(with no bottons)

Sometimes gardo isn't as ... explicit as he could be.

Did you copy the rest of those files to the images folder?

I realize there is no "explicit" instruction to do so, but I'm sure Gardo assumed you'd figure that out, but NOT be able to figure out (easily) how to patch the agent-UI. So he included instructions for patching the agent UI but did not include a "copy theses files to the agc/images folder ... command.

No Idea why it being shown in AUTO dial MODE.

Of course it's disabled in auto dial mode. It's only enabled on manual dial.

Instead of Disabled, Isnt it More wise to hide it ?

PostPosted: Tue Aug 16, 2011 10:23 pm
by williamconley
Why? So the agent can use that space for ... something else? Like a coffee holder? 8-) LOL

Keeping the real estate visible is handy. Agents know where things will be when they become active.
