You have just built a web server. The GUI is accessed on your workstation via a web BROWSER. Not on the server.

The server is now a box that sits in a corner and is never accessed directly. Doesn't need a monitor or keyboard or mouse any more after you have successfully logged in via PuTTY for ssh (mimics the console login) and Firefox/Internet Explorer to access all the GUI functions which run in a Web Browser.

Perhaps you should read the getting started guide a little more thoroughly. I'm fairly sure that the switch to your workstation web browser is mentioned.

Perhaps you could download the Manager's Manual from eflo.net and follow the instructions.

Kinda makes it easy to do (and stops us from placing these same instructions in a post for each new user!).

Since the software is free and the manual is free, follow the tutorials/steps one at a time all the way through. You'll come out the other side with the ability to Message Broadcast ...

The function in question is called "Survey" and is available on the Campaign Detail screen (Campaigns->pick one->Details->Survey).

Do NOT skip straight to that section without learning the rest. Work your way through the manual to gather all the information you need to make it work when you get there, or you'll confuse yourself and have to go back (frustrated) to learn the stuff you skipped later. Works much better if you just start at the beginning of the manual and do each exercise as they come up.
