One of my Client wants to setup 50 seats Outbound in India.

He wants to go for Nortel or Avaya but I am asking him to go for Vicidial.

To go for Domestic, mainly he will Require :

2 Servers of Xeon Model
4 Channels PRI Card with 30 channels each.
PRI Connection

Do I need anything else ?

are they recording all calls? inbound or outbound campaign(s)? will they be dialing 1:1 or 200:1 or somewhere in between? Xeon model conveys NO information. Xeon comes in single processor units as low as 1.6Ghz and also in multiple (very) processor models with significantly higher speed. So please: number of processors and speed of processors. Also list the front side bus speed, amount and speed of memory and type and rpm and transfer rate of HD.

but it sounds good otherwise. 8)

1) 100% Recording

2) Outbound

3) 1:2 Maximum Dial Level

4) Xeon : Still looking for the best Model.

Also, anyway to test the domestic setup if I can arrange the PRI card as I don't have a PRI connection in my Office.

Loop the E-1 back to another port to test it. The /docs/ of the vicidial install has some "how to" information on doing this for performance testing.
