Setting up Inbound campaing

Postby rickynivar » Thu Jun 30, 2011 2:02 pm

Hi dear friends, i habe tried to setup an inbound campaing with no luck at all.

this is what i have already done: i created the in_group, the DID and the campaing. I have a phone number that i just got from my phone provider , im not able to get inbound calls logged as an agent. i have followed everything step by step to setup the inbound but when somebody try to call me get a disconnected sound.

Let me add that my outbound campaigns were working fine yasterday after the provider sent me the new number, the wierd is that he sent me a new user account with a new user name which is not a numbers fformat like the first one he sent me.

thanks

You should configure your carrier first. Be sure de context of your carrier is trunkinbound so it can be handle by vicidial. Until then you will be able to route the DID.

yes i have setup my carrier , that´s the one i have been using to make my outbound calls, and the context is trunkinbound and still not working when somebody call to our number sounds like disconnected.

I would like to know if i have to configure this number in a defferent trunk of if im missing something.

Thanks.

1) Welcome to the Party! 8)

2) when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation

3) Use the asterisk command line interface:
Code: Select all
asterisk -R
set verbose 20

to read the "activity" caused by calling your DID.

4) Alter your Default DID to see if this has an effect on the inbound calls (often the DID reverts to default because it does not match exactly what you expect it to).

5) Post your settings for the DID and InGroup.
