Hi is your new cloud based environment sat in something like amazons ec2?
Also what version of asterisk are you running on your cloud systems? Because I have tried to get vicidial into an ec2 but the zaptel drivers fail and vicidial only works with asterisk 1.4
I've tried osdial which is 1.6 asterisk but would like to stay with vicidial tbh
Thanks

Our cloud platform runs the same version of software on our GoAutoDial CE 2.1 but in 64bit mode.
Asterisk 1.4.39.1-vici
Vicidial 2.4 SVN
I haven't tried Amazon EC2 yet so I can't say if it's something similar. Our cloud (hosted) platform is based on open source technologies.

Well, it seems as though they are violating copyright and the AGPLv2 by removing the Vicidial Group's copyright notice from their admin.php page, as well as the links to the original and altered source code. If they don't fix this soon they will be getting a Cease and Desist email by Friday.

No, not you
Goautodial, their cloud service is in violation of copyright and the AGPLv2 license. They have been notified, hopefully they will fix these issues soon.
We received a whole bunch of screenshots from a user and it appears as if they are just using a standard vicidial cluster with some hacked code to enforce user group restrictions(with varying degrees of success), and they have removed a lot of functionality(like filters, user groups, remote agents, etc...) as well as most of the reports.

Hey Guys,
That was fast. Hahaha! We haven't even formally launched our cloud platform yet. No worries here Matt. We'll have all the codes from the modified Vici available to the public and the copyright notices fixed soon in compliance with AGPL. Just cleaning them up. Hey! We're GoAutoDial. We're open source. We love it! We live it.
Regarding the platform. It's a hybrid GoAutoDial system running on our private cloud. We also simplified Vicidial and made it more user-friendly IMHO. Screenshots are available on our website (it's on the "GALLERY" menu):
Some of the codes we've put into makes Vicidial multi-tenant (for our purposes). We've also made a "wizard' of some sort that automatically creates a set of users, campaigns and phone extensions automatically. A wizard for broadcast/survey and press-1 transfer campaigns is on the way too. So is full integration with Limesurvey. We'll have all of these available soon. (Hopefully someone finds them interesting).
Let us know what you think guys.
PS.
We'll be launching it on the 16th of December. Will be having a Xmas party and launch party too. Op3r get ready to parteh!

great news gardo look forward to those scripts
i am trying to get a vicidial instance in an ec2 enviroment atm. stubbling on the zaptel/dahdi dummy files not want to play ball with the kernel used for ec2
but were are getting there we have also trialed asterisk 1.6 using conference instead of meetme in extensions.conf etc but all works sip phone registers / agent login etc but xlite doesnt ring and not output from asterisk cli which is always a good sign haha
i am sure we will get there tho very close at the moment using a re patched kernel and using res_timing_dahdi but each time we try something there are so many code changes that follow no wonder matt quoted 1000hours for 1.8 its a pain staking process and its mostly down to the meetme room and timing issue but the timing issue we have solved using the patch kernel and setting it to 1000HZ and server.
anyways great work on the cloud solution and again like i said look forward to those scripts.
16th for a parrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrtyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy ballons a rdy

I like the GoAutoDial Cloud. Very cool lookin (fix the trademark issues, though). I can certainly understand the simplifications you made.
What is the limit of the number of users per system?
Also, I don't see a user screen shot ... that's kinda important, since 99% of the time that is what will be showing on hundreds of screens ... after all, properly set up there is NO other interaction for most or all of the workday (just agents logging in and Vicidial doing its job).
Are you going to fork at this point, or are you still compatible?

Copyright issues fixed. Thanks Matt for the tip. Screenshots are here:
Including agent and admin UI.
We've deviated from the "traditional" Vicidial cluster setup. We can accommodate more than 100 agents in a single machine (that is part of the cluster). We've also utilized virtual machines effetively to have redundancy and HA (high-availability).
Technically this is already a fork since we added features for our cloud platform. However, we still plan on maintaining full Vicidial compatibility on the GoAutoDial Community Edition releases. Just hard to maintain or follow the SVN development so we're currently sticking to a single version (until final stable version is released). Patches or source code of the modified Vicidial being used on the cloud would be available for anyone who wants to tinker around with it.

We're finalizing version 1 of the GoAutoDial cloud platform. This should be finished end of February. Code cleanup is next in line so that all modified codes are properly acknowledged and changelogs are in place. We're looking at middle of March or last week.

Hey Guys,
Here are the source code for the modified Vicidial we're using in our GoAutoDial cloud call center platform.
GoAutoDial agent UI:
http://goautodial.org/attachments/download/720/goautodial-agent-ce.zipGoAutoDial reports (GoReports) add-ons:
http://goautodial.org/attachments/download/722/goreports.zipGoAutoDial admin add-ons:
http://goautodial.org/attachments/download/721/goautodial-admin-ce.zipThe codes are compatible with GoAutoDial CE 2.1. They will work out of the box except for the admin add-ons. You need to clean the admin add-on codes to work on a default GoAutoDial CE 2.1 (remove some A2billing mysql statements and etc).
Enjoy! Happy hacking!

yes i know but look :
function insideFrame() {
if (window.top === window.self) {
top.location.href = '../portal/reports.php?pg=dispo';
// alert('Yes');
} else {
checkHeight();
// alert('No');
each time for exemple dispo.php he call the ../portal/reports.php
so they miss the folder portal + the file reports.php

I can confirm that the Goautodial agent interface is not working properly for us.
The forms are not being generated and coding seems a bit screwed up on our end.
I will post a screenshot very shortly.
Any help on debugging this would be great , as i can see 100X improvement over the old goautodial agent interface.
Thank you gardo for the amazing work!

The /portal is just the index directory we're using on our web server. You need to edit the source codes and adapt them to yours.
