1) Vicidial VERSION: 2.2.1-237 BUILD: 100510-2015
2) Asterisk 1.4.27.1-1
3) Single Server
4) Sangoma A101E card
5) No Extra Software After Installation

I have a requirement to be able to route inbound callers to a different ingroup based on the caller id. Eg. All callers dial the same toll free number and is routed to a call menu and then ingroup based on the user input. I would like to be able to automatically route certain callers (based on the caller ID recieved) to a different call menu or ingroup. What's the best way to achieve this? I'm certain that there must be is a way that this can be managed in extensions.conf but the problem is that there are about 100+ such numbers and that could be a challenge. Any help is highly appreciated. Cheers!

Cris: You've been here a while. Please post your installation method with every post!

Also: Have you read the manual? Especially the section about Filter Phone Groups? (You'll find this under Inbound -> Filter Phones Groups).

Happy Hunting. :)

Hi William,

Install method is from the Goautodial ISO ( forgot to post that!)

I'm searching for this in the manual but can't see anything remotely related to Inbound -> Filter Phones Groups. A hint I got that could work is using the custom dialplan functionality - but not sure how to get it to work for a large volume of numbers unless I save and then lookup that data in a mysql table.

I'd purchased the Manager manual maybe about 2 years ago. Is there a newer version out that has the 'filter phone group' option? Thanks
