no CALLMENU option in survey

I set up a survey campagin in vicibox. I am now trying to d othe same for a friend that is using goautodial. It seems that CALLMENU is not an option in goautodial.

when I go to CAMPAIGN --> DETAILS --> SURVEY --> Survey Method

There is no CALLMENU option in the drop down box like there is in vicibox

This is the version of goautodial:

VERSION: 2.4-309a
BUILD: 110430-1642

You can now do a multi-question automated survey using Campaign Survey(for the first question/verification) then sending to call menus from there. We have set this up for a couple clients already and it works great.

From the UPGRADE doc:


132. Added ability to have outbound auto-dial campaigns drop to an audio prompt
or a call menu. Outbound IVR Report added. Added optional logging of
call menu caller key presses. Lead ID can now be preserved on calls
coming from auto-dial or in-groups that go through call menus and back
into an in-group. Call Menu transfer also works from an Outbound Survey.


So is goautodial an older version of vicidial that it is lacking this option? Do I need to upgrade the version?

You are using an old version, you need to upgrade to a more recent svn/trunk.

Thanks for the reply - before I try to upgrade, the version of goautodial is 2.1 and it says it is VERSION: 2.4-309a BUILD: 110430-1642 so shouldn't this be recent enough to have the CALLMENU feature in survey?

We do not support Goautodial since it is an altered version of Vicidial. That version is over 10 months old. To get this feature you need to upgrade to the most recent vicidial svn/trunk version.
