Hangup Xfer Line Delay

Postby ctc_ryan » Mon May 21, 2012 1:54 am

Hi Matt,

We have a concern regarding the hangup xfer line button. When we transfer a call to a specific extension# it will show a little delay for us to transfer to another extension# again. The hangup xfer line button will be grayed out for 10 sec not allowing us to press before it turns red. Is this a bug?

Your help would greatly be appreciated.

1) when you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

this IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

2) Try using the (also included on your server) Vicidial screens (You are using the GoAutoDial screen, which is pretty but has bugs ... so try the non-modified version and see if your experience is different!). If you are in /agc2/ or /agcnew/ try /agc/ instead.

3) Welcome to the Party!

Hi. Here you go.

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial 2.2.1-237 Build 100510-2015 | Asterisk 1.4.27.1-1 | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation |

This is installed on a virtual machine. I will get back to you with its version number but I'm hoping that this issue would be enough. We will also look for th Vicibox version from .iso.

Hi Matt, here's the update.

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial 2.2.1-237 Build 100510-2015 | Asterisk 1.4.27.1-1 | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | vmware vsphere 4.1 vm version 7

If we dial a DID the "HANGUP XFER LINE" button can be clicked right away, but if we dial an extension, it waits around 10 seconds until it turns red an can be clicked.

We also used "agc" but we get the same thing. And thanks for the party.
