Hi

I installed a new goautodial 2.1 and I need to install a Digium TE120P E1 Card.
But when I try to load the module I get this error:

module load chan_dahdi.so
[Dec 18 08:55:48] == Registered application 'DAHDISendKeypadFacility'
[Dec 18 08:55:48] == Registered application 'ZapSendKeypadFacility'

[Dec 18 08:55:48] Loaded chan_dahdi.so => (DAHDI Telephony w/PRI)

So here is what Ive done so far:

First i did lspci to see if the card was recognized by the system:

lspci
00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Sandy Bridge DRAM Controller (rev 09)
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Sandy Bridge Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)
00:16.0 Communication controller: Intel Corporation Cougar Point HECI Controller #1 (rev 04)
00:16.3 Serial controller: Intel Corporation Cougar Point KT Controller (rev 04)

01:01.0 Ethernet controller: Digium, Inc. Wildcard TE120P single-span T1/E1/J1 card (rev 11)

Ok it is recognized, so then I did: dahdi_genconf -vvvvvvv :

#dahdi_genconf -vvvvvvv
Default parameters from /etc/dahdi/genconf_parameters
Generating /etc/dahdi/system.conf
Generating /etc/asterisk/dahdi-channels.conf

Ok great everything seems fine, so now I proceed to do: dahdi_cfg -vvvv

So as you can see my alarm is in RED... and chan_dahdi.conf is not in /etc/asterik as it is supposed to be.

I hope you can help me! I tried to document every step so you can have a clear idea.

Thanks in advance

in goautodial the chan_dahdi.conf file is not copied by default , you need to do the below steps to get the conf file

cp /usr/src/asterisk-1.4.27.1-vici/configs/chan_dahdi.conf.sample /etc/asterisk/chan_dahdi.conf

then open the chan_dahdi.conf and go to the last line and #include dahdi-channels.conf

and then save and reload the dahdi module

Line is conected to the digium E1 card, is this problem form my side? or maybe the provider side?

The red light is blinking, this means something like no sync?

dahdi show status:

Any idea guys?

Hi

well i just spoke with the E1 service provider, and they asked me to remove crc4.
So here is what i did.

I edited /etc/dahdi/system.conf

# Autogenerated by /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf on Tue Dec 18 09:18:10 2012
# If you edit this file and execute /usr/sbin/dahdi_genconf again,
# your manual changes will be LOST.
# Dahdi Configuration File
#
# This file is parsed by the Dahdi Configurator, dahdi_cfg
#
# Span 1: WCT1/0 "Wildcard TE120P Card 0" (MASTER) HDB3/CCS/CRC4 REDClockSource
span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3 here is where i removed crc4
# termtype: te
bchan=1-15,17-31
dchan=16
echocanceller=mg2,1-15,17-31

# Global data

loadzone = us
defaultzone = us

I checked with a dahdi_scan

[root@go asterisk]# dahdi_scan
[1]
active=yes
alarms=RED
description=Wildcard TE120P Card 0
name=WCT1/0
manufacturer=Digium
devicetype=Wildcard TE120P
location=PCI Bus 01 Slot 02
basechan=1
totchans=31
irq=82
type=digital-E1
syncsrc=1
lbo=0 db (CSU)/0-133 feet (DSX-1)
coding_opts=AMI,HDB3
framing_opts=CCS,CRC4
coding=HDB3
framing=CCS

crc4 removed from framing but I still have it in framing_opts, and also i have the same WARNING:

WARNING[5576]: chan_dahdi.c:5129 handle_alarms: Detected alarm on channel 1: Red Alarm

Hope this helps!

make sure you have proper cabling for PRI line, in digium cards pin1&2 is the rx and 4&5 is TX
below is the link to refer the cabling
