hello forum,

I have 8 numbers on which I want dial multiple times. most of the cases those numbers are busy, but if one numbers connect I want to cancel all dialing till answered call ends. I entered those 8 numbers loop in csv file and uploaded in List, Also I have setup my campaign in ratio mode with dial level of 8. But there is 1 minute delay in loop. first dial tries all 8 numbers to dial for 60 second as i already set dial timeout to 60 sec. But after Hangup of 8 calls Its wait another 60 sec to dial next calls..
Can some one help me with this, what should i fix or what settings should i change to?

Thank you

1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) You installed your system with a disk named "goautodial". This is a distribution of Vicidial and has its logo everywhere ... but make no mistake: You are not using a Software Package named "Goautodial", you are using Vicidial which was installed with GoAutoDial's .iso image. (FYI) You can also install Vicidial with Vicibox (and get 3" of the top of your screen back, all the links are underlined in blue so you can easily identify them ... which you likely already knew if you upgraded! LOL).

3) Experiment: Change your Drop Call Seconds to "0" (Zero).

4) Also consider upgrading to the latest version which has a fix for disconnected number recognition which increases redial speed.

5) Also consider changing your Server Max Calls Per Second to ONE (1) unless you have more than 10 agents. This tends to smooth out the dials.

6) What was the result of each of the calls? (Carrier results: CONGESTION/ANSWER/CANCEL/BUSY ...? in addition to the Dispo ...)

Hi williamconley,

Thanks for your prompt response!

1) Thanks for the Party :)

2) I read somewhere that Vicidial is now GoAutodial ;)

3) I will try to set DROP call seconds to 0. Now it is set to 5 sec.

4) can I upgrade Goautodial CE 2.1 with yum update command?

5) Right now max calls per sec is set to 100. I will try to to set is to 1.

6) Most of the time dialstatus is BUSY, But some times I got UNAVAILABLE also.

2) I'd love to see where you read that. LOL (Goauto is merely a delivery system, a good one ... but still just a delivery system)

4) Deal with this on the GoAutodial site, there are instructions. But I prefer Vicibox as it installs the Latest software revision level. By the way: The latest version has a better method for detecting Disconnected numbers, plus it has integrated Email (recent addition) as well as a QC Module (of which I'm quite proud).

6) Perhaps you are overloading the circuit in question if these are cell numbers or special numbers in some way. Otherwise your carrier may be ...odd. When having issues like this, it's always a good idea to test with more than one carrier. Tends to let you know the honesty/reliability level of your carriers. :)
