On Hold Music

Hello;
VERSION: 2.4-309a, BUILD: 110430-1642, GoAutoDial CE 2.1, 2.6.18-238.9.1.el5.goPAE (SMP), Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz, Single Machine
The IP Phone is 7942G.
Normally if I am placing outside call from the IP Phone (directly) and the destination answered the call, then if I pressed Hold, I can hear music on hold for class default. But, if we received the call via the vicidial (where the agent is On-Hook = Y) and we pressed at the hold button, I do not see any effect at the Asterisk CLI and I do not hear music on hold. WHY?
In other words, what is the difference between clicking at the Cisco 7942G hold button while the call was originated from the IP Phone manually and if we received the call came via the vicidial and we pressed at the hold IP Phone button?
Regards
Bilal
