setup voicemail not working

Hi,

Need your expertise regarding this issue i encountered. The voicemail i configured to admin page did not send the recordngs but in /var/spool/voicemail/default/123/INBOX/ i can see the recordings.Please advise.

here is my setup
in voicemail page

Name:test
Email:test@test.com
Active: Y
Delete Voicemail After Email: N
New Messages: 0
Old Messages: 0

are you saying "did not send the recordings" to indicate that the email system did not deliver them? I hope that's what you meant. That's what I'm answering. LOL

Deferred outbound email is a sendmail/postfix/exim issue. NOT related to Vicidial at all (once it has been delivered to the OS email system ... vicidial is Done!).

That being said: If you are using GoAutoDial it would be good to check on the Goautodial board (I'll move this post there!). You should also consider that some ISPs block outbound email on port 25 completely to avoid SPAM setups on their network.

You'll need to troubleshoot the outbound mailing system on your box. Vicibox has no issues (always seems to work, very few issues), but since I've never heard of a complaint on Goautodial outbound email I presume it works fine, too. So you'll need to find out why your email was rejected and by whom (or by what? LOL).
