1) Welcome to the Party! 8-)

2) As you are obviously new here, I have some suggestions to help us all help you:

When you post, please post your entire configuration including (but not limited to) your installation method and vicidial version with build.

This IS a requirement for posting along with reading the stickies (at the top of each forum) and the manager's manual (available on EFLO.net, both free and paid versions)

You should also post: Asterisk version, telephony hardware (model number is helpful here), cluster information if you have one, and whether any other software is installed in the box. If your installation method is "from scratch" you must post your operating system and should also post the .iso version from which you installed your original operating system. If your installation is "Hosted" list the site name of the host.

If this is a "Cloud" or "Virtual" server, please note the technology involved along with the version of that techology (ie: VMware Server Version 2.0.2). If it is not, merely stating the Motherboard model # and CPU would be helpful.

Similar to This:

Vicibox X.X from .iso | Vicidial X.X.X-XXX Build XXXXXX-XXXX | Asterisk X.X.X | Single Server | No Digium/Sangoma Hardware | No Extra Software After Installation | Intel DG35EC | Core2Quad Q6600

3) It appears as though your call never had "sound" and remained "local". Often this can be a firewall issue. Are the manual dial calls going through the same carrier? Do you get sound in both directions with manual dial calls? Note the default:3; default:4; default:5 lines all have "Local" in the channel. The calls have not been actually "completed" and the system will refuse to pass them to an agent until they do. In the case of a manual call, they are already passed to an agent so no such filtering happens ... but if there is no sound during those manual calls, that's your problem.

Happy Hunting 8-)

Thank you for reply

goautodial 3.3 | 2.7 Vicidial Asterisk 1.8 | Single Server | proxmox VM Core4Quad

the manual calls go through the same carriers and I can have sound, the problem arises when I go into predictive or calls do not go to the agent.

is that enough? I'm new to VICIDIAL

thinks :)

Not to hijack the thread, but we are having the same issues, manual/autodial work, but predictive doesnt. The call is never passed to the agent.

here is our dial plan
exten => _1953452634.,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _1953452634.,2,Dial(SIP/${EXTEN:10}@conexiant,,tTo)
exten => _1953452634.,3,Hangup

3) Post a "working" manual call and also post a "not working" autodialed call. Obviously there should be a difference, but we can't see that difference without you posting both.

4) Be sure your asterisk version is correct (asterisk -V matches Admin->Servers->(choose)->Asterisk version).

5) Have you changed the server IP of your server since you built it? Is the IP address shown in Admin->Phones and Admin->Servers the correct IP?

6) Happy Hunting! 8-)

* I don't think there is a 3.3 goautodial, but I haven't checked.
* Vicidial "2.7" is not enough: We need the full version with build. This IS the minimum requirement for posting on this forum.

* Proxmox = Virtual. It is NOT recommended to virtualize vicidial for Production (testing only). Unless you only have one or two agents. We have a couple rooms with Four, but they are very light users.

I do not see a statement or details regarding your actual problem. It is merely mentioned as "the problem arises". Does the server turn green? or are the agent auto-logged out? or perhaps there is one-way sound? maybe calls are not generated? calls are generated but not sent to agents? Post some details (and perhaps a sample GOOD and a sample BAD for Manual vs Autodial from the asterisk CLI?).
