Hi

I installed Vicidialnow and using degium X100P card as timer. Using eyebeam as softdialers.
Can any one help me out with the changes in extensions.conf and sip.conf to be made.

I only make sip calls via callcentric and other few providers.
I updated sip.conf with the user id ,passwords and the ip address. But the extension.conf file is written for trunx or iax lines.

So can any one post the extension.conf designed only for sip protocol.

you dont know how to edit asterisk confs?

So here goes, there's a bunch of example on the extensions.conf please read it.

this is from scrach_install

3. edit sip.conf
- vi /etc/asterisk/sip.conf
here is where we will edit the configuration of our SIP compatible
phone devices. As stated at the beginning, we will be setting up a
Grandstream Budgetone 102 phone and a Sipura SPA-2000 adapter with
two analog phones connected(each with it's own extension). Here are
the settings we used to set each of them up:

port = 5060
bindaddr = 0.0.0.0
context = default
; register SIP account on remote machine if using SIP trunks
; register => testSIPtrunk:test@10.10.10.16:5060
