Hi! I've been trying to install VicialNow. The error I recieve is
"Could not allocate requested partitions"
Couldnot allocate partitions as primary partition.
Not enough space left to create partitionfor /boot
Press ok to reboot your system.
I have tried it out after deleting all the partitions on my hard drive, have created lynux partitions and triend, had even set partition as primary etc and tried. Other Distributions such as Fedora9, Redhat5 etc install perfectily fine....
Can anybody Please Help!

Are you installing VicidialNOW via virtual machine (VMware, Virtualbox and etc.). You need to set your harddrives to at least 4 gig in size.
Thanks!

i don't know whether the guys of vicidialnow use a custom kernel with thier install cd ... anyway in your place (since its just about testing) i would use another box & get started.

VicidialNOW uses the defaut kernel included in CentOS 5.1 since that is the base Linux distribution.

If you really want to learn more about your Vicidial system, I suggest you try installing it from scratch and read the "install from scratch" document. What we did was just make it easy for everyone to have a fully working Vicidial system in an installable CD. Doing the scratch install gives you lots of insights on how your Vicidial system works.

I never said the scratch install wasn't important. but if you were new ... & unexperienced ... vicidialnow is your mentor.
