Posted: Wed Sep 10, 2008 1:47 pmYou just need to add your VoIP provider's settings in /etc/asterisk/sip.conf if you'll be using SIP. These are carrier specific so you need to ask your provider for this. You also need to ask the pattern of their dialing or the dialplan.
Regarding the settings of the softphones, you don't need to modify anything at all in sip.conf and extensions.conf.
