TELCO Connection

what is the best type of connection for asterisk box and asguiclient deployment with 50 AGENTS for call.... Is it E1 or T1 connection....more than 2 Mbps...any suggestion....and also im using VOIP through SIP/softphones.... :shock:

There really is no BEST telco connection, it depends on how much each kind of connection costs and how it is delivered to you, as well as how flexible you need the line capacity to be.

Unless you're going to dial local calls here in the Philippines, VoIP is the recommended medium. As Matt mentioned, it all depends on what your needs are. For 50 agents using SIP and G729 codec, 2 mpbs is good enough if you're doing just manual calls or 1 to 1 ratio calling. If you want to go into predictive mode, 4 mpbs or higher is recommended.
