Vicidial outbound help please

hi there

i have vicidialnow setup and working with outbound sip, works great if the number dialed is available, if i take the external number to dial and take it of hook. The system does not detect that the line is busy.

I get a popup on the agents screen that the system is trying to dial the number. the sceen just hangs if i press ok i have to press ok several times

"Calling: (012)653-8765 UID: M0129171433000000007   Waiting for Ring..."

When this gets to "Calling: (012)653-8765 UID: M0129171433000000007   Waiting for Ring...35seconds" and i had to select ok 35 times i get the following

"Dial timed out, contact your system administrator"

then only i can end the call. and start dialing new number

How does fix this. PLease anyone.

upgrade your astguiclient to a new one.

Its a bug on that version.

Download the latest Astguiclient (2.0.4.1rc5) and read the UPGRADE document.

Thanks for the help works like a charm now, just one question if i may.

I created an outbound campaign, agent is logged on, and dial mode is set to manual.

If i dial a number it rings the number, no problem, but say for instance the number i dial is busy, it does not say that it is busy, it counts down the 50 seconds then telss the agent to contact admin.

Can vicidial detect if a line is busy or out of service, if there is a way please tell me how.

Sorry i am dial from sip trunks
