hi guys,

first of all thanks for this fantastic piece of software!

I have the following issue with call recordings: i need to split the recordings in two audiolines. 1 Line with only the agent voice and the other with the client voice. the recordings are mixed with soxmix and compressed to gsm. but i noticed (and read it in another thread) that the recording in the *-in file already contains both sides on one audiotrack. so i am not able to split it with audacity. is there a way to get a single side recording?

thx for any help in advance
rondu

not with VICIDIAL. If you want those type of recordings you need to do them outside of the VICIDIAL interface. We had a client once using PRIs that had a system set up to do what you are describing, but it was highly customized and took a long time to develop.

very good. you listed the first requirement. now keep going:

1) Installation method - DONE (but you missed the OS, kinda helps)
2) Vicidial Version and Build
3) Asterisk Version
4) Cluster info (if not a standalone)
5) Any other software installed in the server

And yes, to answer your question. But the methodology differs based on several other factors. That's ONE reason it's important to list all the above. To help us help you. (Another reason is that it's required ... :))

did you set up your cron to mix the recordings? and do you know where they are after they are mixed?

You successfully SCRATCH installed on CentOS? That's cool. What directions did you use? (And what .iso image from what web site did you begin with?)
