Could you enlighten me by telling me what the "Multiple Recording Issue" is? (or better yet, by stating exactly what your symptoms are ...)

Thanks williamconley for your reply,

Multiple recording mean of are getting more then one agent call being record in a single file.

In normal scenario every agent call should be recorded as separate file.

Ok! Progress.

Does this happen all the time, randomly, predictably under certain circumstances or only if the agent's name is "julio"?

Hi ,

On one can help in this on going issue,
This happen randomly, but in most of the files which I check I found more then one call has been added in one single file. Which mean one One call finish after few seconds second call start in same file and when it finish 3rd call start in same file.

mean single gsm file having more then one calls ( one by one)

have you modified your dial plan or added any software to the vicidialnow box?

you may want to consider uprading at this point, just to save time.

yes all calls are being record by

Code: Select all
0,3,6,9,12,15,18,21,24,27,30,33,36,39,42,45,48,51,54,57 * * * * /usr/share/astguiclient/AST_CRON_audio_1_move_VDonly.pl
1,4,7,10,13,16,19,22,25,28,31,34,37,40,43,46,49,52,55,58 * * * * /usr/share/astguiclient/AST_CRON_audio_2_compress.pl --GSM

I did not notice any delay at call starting.

In the campaign definition is:
Code: Select all
Recording Delay - For ALLCALLS and ALLFORCE recording only. This setting will delay the starting of the recording on all calls for the number of seconds specified in this field. Default is 0.

Helpful if you have a lot of calls recorded that are only two or three seconds. Set it for a three second start delay and eliminate a lot of recordings.

Also what is your Campaign Rec exten?

Also, for the phone do you have "Stop Rec after each call" set to "1"?

Thanks for kindly reply,

we are using default value that is

Campaign Rec exten: 8309

and Recording Delay: is set to 0

I change it to 3 second as you suggested and let you know the effect.

Do a really good backup (drive image would be nice). And then upgrade. But that's just me. ;)
