The "yum -y kernel-devel" command for VicidialNOW

Would yum -y kernel-devel work on VicidialNOW install the correct kernel?

I'm trying to get the kernel installed so I can properly compile and install the driver for my PhonicEQ card.

The kernel-devel package is installed by default. Are you referring to the kernel source package?
