Did a fresh install of vicidialnow. Not surprising, the fresh install won't even let me log in to see if campaigns even begin to work. When I try logging in i get: Sorry, there are no available sessions.

As far as I can tell, this has something to do with conferences, not sessions. All the posts in forums and blogs on the web that claim a solution don't work. Either the actual solution is left out or the method to solve is stopped when the particular config file says don't edit at the very top.

Are there any step by step instructions to solve this?

I have been able to track the problem to the extensions themselves. The particular extension I want to use is on trixbox. That's where the problem lies. From searching, all I can find is the phone, or user accounts, need to point to a trixbox did for the extension. All extensions in trixbox have 1xx for their CID onthe config. For example, ext 129 is my test extension, the trixbox CID is 129. In vicidial, I have the phone's server ip set to my trixbox ip address.

To get extensions on my trixbox to work with vicidial, what else do I need to do?

I did try the extensions already in vicidialnow, but every last one of them return "404 not found" when I try to log a phone into them. I have searched for this problem too, but not to my surprise, no troubleshooting/solutions posted.

Solved this one. I decided to use separate extensions for trixbox and vicidial. Works pretty good and no confusion on what call came from where.
