outgoing call help

Hi,


Anyone please help me to setup my SIP trunk and dial plans. i have installed VICIDIALNOW 1.2.

am confused with outbound dial group in phone configuration and unable to identify the dial prefix for UK numbers. my provider says i have to prefix 0044 to dial Uk number.

Do you have the manager's manual, and have you begun to work through it towards making calls?

No i don't have manager's manual. but i have followed vicidialnow getting started document to setup campaign , carriers and phones, but this document doesn't talk about dial plans.


default dial plan is not allowing me to make outgoing calls.

default dial plan must be altered to YOUR carrier.

what step "fails" in the getting started?

i have the same error, i don't know if i have a bad setup in my sip trunk

i'm registering in another asterisk

register => testcarrier:test@myip:5060


when i saw the logs in my another asterisk (that actually is in production for VOIP calls) i see that my vicidial can register, but i can't see any call.

FOR TEST PURPOSES i create a user "testcarrier" with pass "test"
as in the example

in my account entry

in my global string have

TESTSIPTRUNK = SIP/testcarrier


and in my dialplan entry have this

exten => _91999NXXXXXX,2,Dial(${TESTSIPTRUNK}/${EXTEN:2},,tTor)
exten => _91999NXXXXXX,3,Hangup


i really don't know if i have to change something,

when i try to call extension to extension, asterisk make the call and i can connect, however when I try to make a call to a phone number tells me a voice "I am sorry, thas not a valid extension please try again"


cane anybody help me pls.

i'll change it but the problem persist.


if I try to make the call in the agent, with "manual call" still have the same problem, I can't make calls with my voip service, just extension to extension.


i know that there is something wrong with my SIP configuration but just don't know where!!!
