Cannot dial out...

Postby nickriosBOL » Sun May 24, 2009 11:13 am

Hey there, first of all I would really like to thank all the ppl that help on this post, its the first time am working with vicidial, and thanks to the posts i was able to setup and sort a lot of problems on the instalation, and am just missing a final step but i think the most important one hehe, i can log my agents, but they cant dial out all I see on agent screen is "Waiting for ring..." after that i get the message "Dial timed out.."
I think am not registering proprertly with my VOIP provider cuz I cant even call with the Eyebeam, I get the message Service Unavailable.
Here is my SIP conf
[trunk_1]
disallow=all
allow=ulaw
allow=alaw
allow=g729
type=friend
username=<username>
secret=<passwd>
host=<ipaddress>
dtmfmode=rfc2833
context=trunkinbound
By the way am getting connected to my VOIP provider through a softswitch (voipswitch), any help please?? :D

Any thoughts on this?

Also when I try to dial out I get:
WARNING [25629]: channel.c:2621 ast_request No channel type registered for ' '
NOTICE [25629]: apt_dial.c:1076 dial_exec_full Unable to create channel of type ' ' (cause 66 - Channel not implemented)

I am not sure if have to setup zap.conf and zapata.conf because am not using any zaptel cards.

Sorry for that I already fixed that with the sip.conf and also configured my extensions, just one question cuz am not sure about this if normally through my sip phones i dial for example 14031231234, should the extensions be like this?:
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,1,AGI(agi://127.0.0.1:4577/call_log)
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,2,Dial(${SIPtrunk}/${EXTEN:1},55,o)
exten => _1NXXNXXXXXX,3,Hangup
