Hi experts,

I am having problems trying to set up an acanac sip trunks.

1) I can see that the connection to sip is working in the CLI

sip show registry

2) I can also see my channels

sip show channels

I see 2 channels one for my conference and the other of acanac


but when I dial, the acanac channel dissapear and I receive the message

channel.c: No channel type registered for ''
app_dial.c: Unable to create channel of type '' (cause 66 - Channel not implemented)

Does anyone experienced the same issue.

I don't think this is an issue with Acanac, but with the VicidialNow 1.2 CE release. I have had the same issue no matter what provider I try to setup. The CLI displays something about vicidial-auto, but I am not sure where this file is located. The extensions-vicidial.conf and sip-vicidial.conf files seem to be updated but not being used by Asterisk.

I will provide more information in few hours.

That`s true, I have installed vicidialnow CE 1.2. How did you make it work? is it by changing conf files in etc/asterisk?

This issue now is half solved by following the link topic =7449 (in this site)

I still have a problem with incoming calls. I doesn`t ring...

Does anybody have the unchanged extensions.conf since I made changes but not kept a backup?
