Enable Call transfer in Manual dialing mode. possible?

hello guys i just want to ask if it is possible to do a call transfer using manual dialing method.

i tried manual dialing and when we receive a call the live call doesn't light up. is it natural?

will it be possible to do a call transfer?

manual dial implies originating a call to a prospect.

transfers imply you already have a prospect on the phone.

I'm not sure those two concepts are related. Unless you explain it again.

Except: if you want to transfer a call in progress, but you want to be able to "manually dial" the phone you are transfering to, you use the transfer/conf button as it was designed. Read the agent's manual and it will describe the options available after pushing the transfer/conf button during a live call. (or play with it ...)

If I dial manually and I am connected to the prospect at the moment - the buttons are still inactive. How can I turn them on?
