[root@vici ~]# rpm -U webmin-1.441-1.noarch.rpm
package webmin-1.441-1 is already installed
[root@vici ~]#

When I try ip:10000 , it doesnt open the page.

What could be wrong ?

easily intalled

wget <get the link from webmin site>
tar -xzf webmin-1.290.tar.gz (well put new file name if verion changes)
/root/webmin-1.290/setup.sh

use https://hostname:10000 (if you used port 10000 of course) to access it.
or http://hostname:10000 if you have disable the https
Done. Simple.

you must also START webmin and with a standard install use https (often a web browse will fail if the http is used instead and you will get the impression it isn't there, but on some installs it will tell you to use https).
