How to clear script contents after agent hangup

Postby webgurru » Thu Aug 13, 2009 4:21 am

Hi,

In a manual dial mode, when a call is dispositioned customer information is cleared automatically but script content is not cleared. Normally script contents are readonly contents to guide agent, but in my case script contains another dynamic page which is auto updating contents after every 20 seconds. If agent hangup one customer and script screen is still there he can change the contents while I don't want him to do after hangup. Is there any way to clear scripts contents after hangup.

Best regards,

There is currently nothing that does this in the vicidial.php code, although it would not be that difficult to add as an option, or just change the code yourself to clear out the script span at the point of the hangup process.

Hi Matt,

Could you point me right function name and file name and I'll add PHP code in it to clear it.

Best regards,

Hi Matt,

I manage to clear this. I put a one line of javascript code into vicidial.php at the end of function named "dialedcall_send_hangup", the line of code is.
Code: Select all
document.getElementById("ScriptContents").innerHTML = "";
